Job Description
The successful candidate will oversee spare parts and equipment movements, including warehouse-to-site deliveries, returns from sites to warehouses and transfers between operational locations. The role requires a structured approach to stock planning, procurement coordination, asset identification, recordkeeping and delivery monitoring. By maintaining accurate inventory information and identifying potential supply gaps, the analyst will help operational teams obtain essential components when required.
An important element of the position is managing supplier relationships and coordinating replenishment activities. This includes monitoring stock availability, reviewing inventory discrepancies, supporting forecasting activities and working with relevant vendors and spare parts management system providers. The position also involves tracking equipment movements through approved systems and maintaining reliable records that support operational reporting and asset control.
Warranty administration is another significant responsibility. The analyst will coordinate warranty documentation, monitor coverage periods, communicate with suppliers about claims and replacement requirements, and follow cases through to resolution. Accurate records are essential for identifying outstanding claims, supporting accountability and preventing avoidable delays.
The role also contributes to logistics performance improvement. Responsibilities include reviewing transportation arrangements, monitoring third-party logistics services, analyzing inventory and delivery information, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs. During urgent repairs or infrastructure upgrades, the analyst will coordinate equipment movements with relevant teams to support timely operational response.
SBA Communications describes a collaborative, team-oriented working culture. This position therefore calls for effective communication, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
Candidates should have relevant tertiary education and substantial experience in spare parts management, logistics coordination or critical infrastructure operations. Experience with inventory systems, vendor management, documentation and process improvement will be particularly relevant. Applicants should consult the official vacancy listing for the complete current requirements and application instructions.
